The Heide Park Resort is a theme park in Soltau, Lower Saxony, Germany. With an overall area of over 850,000 m² (210 acres), it is one of the biggest German amusement parks and the biggest in Northern Germany. The theme park is part of the British-based Merlin Entertainments.
The looping ride 'Big Loop' in the Heide Park was opened in 1983 and was the parks very first roller caoster. This ride consists of 2 loop to loop, 2 cork screws and has an overall length of 706m. After the drop the train reaches a max. of 70 km/h top speed.

Colossos is the second biggest wooden coaster in Europe and, at the same time, the second fastest of the world. She is 52m high and has a slope that is 61° steep and reaches a maximum top speed of thrilling 120Km/h after the first drop.
